The B4042 is closed this evening, after a vehicle collided with a telegraph pole.
Emergency services were called to the busy B-road near Lea at around 6pm.
The telegraph pole is understood to be severely damaged, with the road closure in place to to safety concerns. BT has been called, giving a response time of around four hours.
The road’s not expected to reopen until tomorrow morning – it’s currently closed between the St Bernard Lovell junction an the Lea junction.
