The M4 in Swindon is blocked eastbound due to a collision involving just one vehicle.

The crash happened at around 1.20pm, between junctions 16 and 15.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent three fire crews to the scene, following reports of people trapped in the vehicle. On arrival, they found no one trapped and made the scene safe.

There are delays of around 25 minutes on the approached to the crash scene.

A Highways England spokesperson said: “Vehicles are passing the scene via the hard shoulder only at this time. Our Traffic Officers are en-route to scene. There are delays of 25 minutes on approach.”
