Traffic chaos around Devizes as pedestrian hit by car outside Sainsbury’s

A pedestrian has been hit by a car in Devizes this afternoon.

Commercial Road is closed in both directions while 999 crews deal with the casualty.

The road is blocked outside Sainsbury’s following the crash at around 3.30pm.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “The incident happened outside Sainsbury’s and traffic is building up in the area. We are asking motorists to find alternative routes if possible.”
