Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed in Trowbridge town centre to attend an emergency nearby.
South Western Ambulance Service and air ambulance critical care medics were called to outside to Intermezzo Express, The Shires Shopping Centre, at around 10am today.
Eyewitnesses told Wiltshire 999s that a man, who looked in his 40s, was receiving CPR.
The casualty was airlifted to Royal United Hospital in Bath at around 10.50am.
