A man’s been arrested after a car ‘involved in a machete attack’ was stopped in Swindon.
Armed police were involved in pulling the blue SUV over in Dorcan Way at around 1.30pm (Sunday).
Roads policing officers and a dog unit also assisted – with thousands of pounds worth of suspect stolen alcohol located and recovered from inside the car.
The vehicle was linked to an earlier ‘machete attack’ in the Gloucestershire area.
Gloucestershire Constabulary has been approached for comment.
