A Chippenham man found dead in woods has been named in a tribute released by his twin.

Jordan Hazelwood, aged in his 20s, was discovered unresponsive by police after concerns were raised for his safety yesterday morning (Thursday, 20 July).

Officers located his sign-written van parked in a lay-by on the A363 Sally in the Wood, between Bradford on Avon and Bathford, and a search of the nearby woodland tragically uncovered his body.

On Facebook, his twin brother Jake since revealed how Jordan – who owned a removals business called Man-Go-Movers – had been struggling with his mental health for many years prior to his death.

He wrote publically: It is with heavy hearts and sadness that I share the news of my twin brother’s passing. Today, Jordan left this world, leaving behind a void that can never be filled for many of us.

“Jordan was a bright and kind soul, As his twin brother, we shared a bond that words cannot describe, and the pain of losing him is indescribable.

“For years, Jordan battled with his mental health, facing challenges that most of us cannot comprehend. Despite his efforts over the last few years, the struggle for him became to much for him to continue. It’s heartbreaking to know that he couldn’t find the relief and healing he sought, even with the support of medical professionals and loved ones.

“But in our grief, let us remember the beautiful moments we shared with Jordan. He had a heart that he only opened up to those he felt a connection with and it felt special to connect with him.

“While I’m still processing everything right now, I feel at piece (sic) and understand what he was going through, I know this news will be rough on so many that knew him and shocking and welcome you to message me if your struggling.

“To all who knew Jordan, I invite you to share your cherished memories, stories, and kind words in the comments below. Let’s create a space to celebrate his life and remember the joy he brought into our lives.

“Rest in peace my brother. Your memory will forever live on in our hearts.”

The social media post has attracted significant attention from Jordan’s family and friends – with scores of comments left in tribute.
