Arrests after medical equipment stolen from Great Western Hospital

Arrests have been made after medical equipment was stolen from a hospital.

Police were called to Great Western Hospital following a reported theft earlier today (Sunday).

Roads policing, firearms and local officers carried out searches for the vehicle involved – a white van.

The vehicle was later located in Swindon, allegedly packed full of stolen items from numerous sites.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
