The A420 has been closed in both directions following a ‘major incident’.

The busy route, in Fyfield, east of Faringdon, is blocked – and it is likely to remain closed for several hours.
The A-road is closed between Southmoor and Bessels Leigh – with all nearby routes that bypass the stretch suffering significant traffic issues.
