Trains between Swindon and Chippenham have been halted while police deal with someone on the tracks.
One passenger told Wiltshire 999s that an announcement on board a train, which has been stationary for half an hour so far, said ‘there is a person on the tracks, and police are currently in pursuit’.
An armed response vehicle and marked police were seen parked at Chippenham Train Station.
UPDATE: Trains are moving again – someone’s been arrested, according to an announcement.
