A man from Wiltshire has been charged with murdering a three-month-old baby girl.

Miyah Warnock was rushed to Bristol Children’s Hospital in September 2021 after emergency services were called to an address in Cornfield Road, Devizes.

Despite the best efforts of doctors, she died a month later and detectives launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her tragic death.

Yesterday (3 May), police raided a bungalow in Steeple Ashton near Trowbridge and arrested Miyah’s father Samuel Warnock.

The 28-year-old was subsequently charged with murder and appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court this afternoon (Thursday).

The bench remanded him in custody to appear before Winchester Crown Court tomorrow (5 May).
