A massive tree measuring more than 40 foot fallen into a road near Swindon this afternoon.
The busy B4696 between the Braydon Crossroads and the Leigh Crossroads was closed by police in both directions at around 2pm, and isn’t expected to reopen for some time.
Work is underway to remove the tree but police say motorists should find alternative routes.
