A car was completely wrecked in a road traffic collision on a major route this evening (Thursday).
Emergency services were called to the crash – including at least four vehicles – on A4 Pewsham Way at around 6pm.
Three of the vehicles involved – a white Hyundai Tucson, a black Ford Fiesta and an Openreach-branded Vauxhall Vivaro van – remained at the scene at 7pm.
Police officers directed motorists around the pile-up whilst they await the arrival of recovery trucks.
It’s not clear if anyone’s been injured in the incident or if any arrests were made.
Motorists travelling past the scene face only very minor delays to their journey.
