A teenage girl has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Chippenham.
Emergency services were called to Loyalty Street at around 8.30am this morning (Tuesday) following reports of a pedestrian having been struck by a vehicle.
The victim, a 14-year-old girl, was left with a bloody face following the incident – and was treated by medics.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that officers attended the scene and that the child was taken to Royal United Hospital in Bath with a serious facial injury.
Her injury isn’t believed to be life-changing and she is expected to make a full recovery.
The driver remained at the incident and cooperated with officers.
