Emergency services were called to a crash on the A4361 today (Friday, 23 September).

The main route is partially blocked between Wroughton and Broad Hinton following the incident at around 5.10pm.

A white Audi convertible appears to have left the carriageway, collided with a small tree and spun 180 degrees – coming to rest facing the wrong way.

It’s not yet clear what caused the smash, but nobody is thought to have been seriously hurt.

Police and the ambulance service were in attendance, with the road partially obstructed for around one hour.

The road is expected to be clear by 6.30pm.
