The body of a man was discovered in Chippenham this morning (Thursday, 8 September).
Police attended an address in Palmer Street, off Ladyfield Road, alongside the ambulance service.
A man, aged in his 70s, was declared deceased at the scene.
Officers remained at the home for several hours and left shortly after the arrival of a private ambulance at 12.30pm.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that they “do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances”.
“Our thoughts are with his family”, a force spokesperson added.
