A huge search operation is underway after a man went missing in Old Sarum.
The police helicopter was deployed as officers swarmed the Partridge Way area at around 8am this morning (Sunday, 4 September).
25-year-old Macaulay Carter went missing at around 6am – and he’s said to be wearing a denim jacket, black jeans and a blue and white baseball cap.
Locals also claim that the man may not be wearing any shoes.
Wiltshire Search and Rescue volunteers have been tasked to join the urgent operation to locate the vulnerable male. Hampshire Search and Rescue Dogs are also en route.
A police spokesperson said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101 as a matter of urgency quoting log 85 of today (04/09).”
