A serious road traffic collision has closed the A361 in both directions.
Emergency services were called to the crash near Devizes earlier this evening (Saturday, 16 July).
The smash is understood to have happened near the staggered crossroads for Bishops Cannings/Calne.
At least one person has been seriously injured in the incident – with a collision investigation expected to take place in the coming hours.
Further details aren’t known at this time – though it’s believed a lorry collided with a car.
The main road is closed by police between Beckhampton roundabout and the staggered crossroads.
Wiltshire Police is asking motorists to seek alternative routes – confirming that the road is expected to remain closed into tonight and possibly until tomorrow morning.
