Swindon nightclub causes uproar with Halloween display featuring dead baby

A nightclub in Swindon has been heavily criticised on social media for its controversial Halloween display which features a dead baby in a cot.

Sy Prichard, who lost his own baby, was enjoying a night out in Casbah when he came across a baby laying in a cot with blood around its mouth near the dance floor.

“It really upsets me to see that kinda stuff… ruined the night as well”, he said.

Since posting the photograph on Facebook, dozens of people have expressed their views on the matter, with most agreeing with his stance – it’s not appropriate.

One angry resident, Emaleigh Keeble said: “Not even been near the place tonight but will be writing a formal complaint in the morning! So sorry you had to see that tonight! Not funny and not in the “spirit” of Halloween! So angry right now!”

Stuart Harper said: “[There’s] something very wrong with the mentality of these people.

Others say the scary display is all part of Halloween.

John Dunn said: “So where do you draw the line? [It’s] not ok to have a dead human in a cot but ok to have a dead human walking around like a zombie?”

We attempted to contact Casbah on two occasions today, but the phone wasn’t answered.
