The A419 closed northbound following a road traffic collision.
Emergency services are currently (9am) responding to reports of a multi-vehicle crash in Swindon.
Police, fire and ambulance are all in attendance.
The road is closed northbound between Commonhead Roundabout and the White Hart Roundabout.
A spokesperson for Highways England said: “The A419 northbound in Wiltshire near Swindon is closed between the A4259 Commonhead Roundabout and the A4312 White Hart Roundabout due to a multi-vehicle collision.
“A diversion is in operation (follow the route marked with a solid square symbol on local road signs).
“If you’re heading that way this morning please allow plenty of additional time for your journey.”
