Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has landed for a serious incident in Salisbury.
Emergency services were called to reports of a casualty outside the Co-op Food in Castle Street at around 7.30am this morning (21 February).
It is believed a casualty suffered a medical episode, however, this has not yet been confirmed.
The air ambulance helicopter landed in Victoria Park, a stone’s throw from the scene, shortly after 8am – having left its base near Andover at around 7.40am.
Google Maps shows traffic build-up in the area, but it’s not clear whether this relates to the incident or normal Monday morning rush-hour delays.
South Western Ambulance Service and the police are both in attendance.
