Firearms officers were called to a robbery in Swindon this evening.
Four armed response units – all BMW X5s – responded to the serious incident at a busy bookmakers on Cricklade Road at around 5.30pm today, 19 September.
Specialist police drone officers were at the scene ‘searching for a person’ following the what is believed to be a robbery or attempted robbery at Ladbrokes on ‘the crossroads’.
Detectives from Swindon CID were also at the scene.
