Wiltshire police officers swoop in on suspect vehicle outside rail station

A Swindon road was closed at around midday, after a suspect vehicle was spotted.

Police officers attended the scene on Station Road – near Swindon Rail Station – and closed it while a short investigation was completed; the vehicle was found to be safe.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that it was a false alarm.
