Forensic investigators have arrived in Highworth following break-in.
Police were called to the SPAR store at the Shell petrol station on Swindon Road earlier this morning, after reports of a burglary overnight.
Thousands of pounds of cigarettes were stolen.
A SPAR spokesperson said: “Due to a break in at SPAR Highworth last night the store is closed until further notice. We apologise for the inconvenience.”
