Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were mobilised to a 2-vehicle road traffic collision in Sailsbury on Wednesday.

Fire crews from Salisbury and Wilton attended the collision which is said to have occurred at High Post in Sailsbury having been called at 15:41.

Police and ambulance crews were also alerted to the incident.

One casualty was extricated using cutting equipment and then handed over to South Western Ambulance Service.

The crew carried out scene safety on the vehicles which were then handed over to the owner and police before leaving the scene.

Earlier in the day, a crew from Swindon attended to 2 adults who were shut in a lift at Peglars Way in Swindon.

Crews isolated the lift and released them from the lift safely.
