A police investigation is underway after a man was found dead in Salisbury.
Officers were called to the scene on the Salisbury Crematorium grounds in Barrington Road at around 3pm this afternoon, Thursday 21 January.
Whilst the force says there’s “not believed that there is a wider risk to the public”, there will be a large police presence in the area for the foreseeable future.
“Officers are currently working to ascertain the circumstances surrounding this sudden death and to trace next of kin”, a spokesperson said. Adding: “Our thoughts are with them at this sad time.”
