This is the reason that the police helicopter was over Swindon last night

Residents in the Rodbourne area of Swindon were awoken by the sound of a police helicopter overhead at around 10pm last night.

The National Police Air Support (NPAS) unit from Benson in Oxfordshire was assisting Wiltshire Police with a search for two high-risk vulnerable missing women.

Both missing women were located safe and well by the helicopter.
