A terminally ill woman and her boyfriend were found dead at home at the weekend.

Emergency services raced to the scene in Logan Close, Old Walcot, following a 999 call reporting the discovery of two bodies – a man and a woman – within a house at before 9am on Saturday morning, 31 October.

37-year-old Lisa Penny, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer this year, was found unresponsive at the property and pronounced deceased by responding medics.

Her boyfriend, 41-year-old Jamie Anstey, was also pronounced dead at the scene.

Wiltshire Police said it was not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths, but couldn’t confirm whether they believe a crime had been committed.

“Police were alerted by the ambulance service to the address this morning following the deaths of two people”, a spokesperson for the force said.

They added: “The police, on behalf of the coroner, are continuing the investigation to ascertain the circumstances. Next of kin have been informed.”
