Police and ambulance were called to a crash in Royal Wootton Bassett this afternoon.

An Aster Group truck and a Range Rover were involved in the collision in Station Road, on the roundabout with New Road, at just after midday.

Paramedics checked over the occupants of the two vehicles for minor injuries sustained. It’s not believed anyone was taken to hospital for treatment.

Three police vehicles and an ambulance were in attendance of the minor road traffic collision.

The roundabout was blocked for a short time, reopening fully by 12.40pm.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called at around 12.11pm today (26/08) to a report of a road traffic collision involving a lorry and a Range Rover on Station Road.

“Only minor injuries have been reported and both vehicles have since been recovered.”
