A cyclist has been injured in a crash in a village near Chippenham this afternoon.
Police closed a lane off the B4039 at Yatton Keynell after the rider was involved in a collision with a vehicle at around 2pm.
The Street is currently closed in both directions as police and ambulance attend the scene.
A cyclist was seen lying in the road for at least 45 minutes before paramedics arrived. They were given first aid by police officers prior to the ambulance service’s arrival.
UPDATE 3.30PM: The casualty has been transported to hospital for treatment for non-serious injuries and police have reopened the road in both directions.
