A woman’s been left ‘distressed’ after a man exposed himself to her and her son in Swindon.

It happened on the footpath which runs parallel to Dorcan Academy at around 2.15pm this afternoon, after the offender approached them, said hello and then committed the sexual offence.

Following the indecent exposure in the area leading from the Dorcan Way underpass, the man then followed the pair for a short time along Bullfinch Close, Covingham.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “The woman was understandably shocked and distressed by this and managed to walk away.

“He’s described as white, approximately 6ft tall, around 40-years-old with shaved black hair, a stubbly beard and was wearing a yellow and orange patterned short-sleeved shirt and blue shorts.

“It’s believed he had a Polish or eastern European accent.

“If you heard or saw anything suspicious or anyone acting suspiciously in this area today, please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 54200043198.

“Alternatively, you can report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
