A woman was punched through her car window after leaving a shop in Salisbury last week.
The incident happened at around 1pm and 1.30pm on 10 April (Good Friday) near to the Spar shop in Gainsborough Close.
As she got into her car, it is alleged that two women who are known to her approached her vehicle and punched her through the open window. They then attempted to open the car door and assault her.
The victim sustained bruising to the eye in the attack.
“We believe there were witnesses in the area who may be able to help with our enquiries”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police commented.
