15 firefighters have worked to extinguished a blaze at hotel in Bradford on Avon this afternoon.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a fire in the laundry room of the Leigh Park Country House Hotel on Leigh Road at around 2.40pm.

Three fire crews; one from Bradford on Avon and two from Trowbridge attended the incident with the support of an aerial appliance from Bath Fire Station.

Watch manager Stuart Williams told our photographer Estelle Legg at the scene that the fire involved and “large industrial tumble dryer” and that “no one was injured”.

He added that his crews used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
