Police are investigating an incident involving a teenage girl swinging a stick at ducks.
The birds, said to have been enjoying a mid-morning nap at the time, were awoken to the teen “terrorising” them with the stick alongside a group of youths aged between 13-16.
It happened at The Crammer in Devizes yesterday and anyone who witnessed it happening is asked to call police on 101 to report what they saw.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “It has come to our attention that a group of youths, aged between 13-16 have been seen terrorising ducks on the crammer yesterday morning.
“One female was seen swinging a stick at the ducks whilst they were sleeping on the bank.
“If anyone has any information regarding this, please ring 101.”
