A man has been shot dead and multiple people have been stabbed in a terrorist attack in London.
As the Metropolitan Police declare the incident terror-related, Wiltshire’s police chief praised the response of armed police in the city, and said his ‘thoughts are to those injured”.
Tragic to see another apparent terrorist incident unfolding in Streatham where the public were put at risk. Another professional and rapid response by @metpoliceuk to safeguard people from the danger. My thoughts are to those injured in the attack.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “A man has been shot by armed officers in Streatham.
“At this stage it is believed a number of people have been stabbed.
“The incident has been declared as terrorist-related.”
