UPDATE: Hungerdown Lane reopened just before 7pm.
A road traffic collision has closed a busy main road through Chippenhem this evening.
Emergency services are understood to be dealing with a casualty lying in the road near The Pheasant.
The road is currently (6pm) blocked in both directions.
Due to the road closure, traffic along Lowden is at a standstill.
