Armed police descended on a Trowbridge petrol station this evening.
Around a dozen of police officers rushed to the BP garage and Spar store on West Ashton Road at after 9pm tonight to what is understood to have been a firearms incident.
Many reports on social media say ‘someone had a gun’, however this is unconfirmed.
The road, the petrol station and part of Trowbridge Oaks Care Home has been taped off.
