Police were also called to the incident following reports of a disorder, sending a large number of units and around six plain clothed detectives.

It’s understood that a vehicle was deliberately driven at a man, in his 60s, who has since been flown to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with life-threatening injuries.

A 54-year-old man from Trowbridge has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and is currently in custody at Melksham Police Station.
