A Post Office in Swindon has been closed this afternoon following a robbery attempt.
Police officers raced to the store in Purton Road, Moredon, at around 1.30pm today.
A male suspect tried to force open one of the internal doors, but failed and ran off.
A detective from Wiltshire Police remained at the scene at 3pm. The store is closed to customers, and isn’t expected to reopen today.
Luckily, no one was injuries during the incident, a police spokesperson confirmed.
