Police in Swindon are investigating an assault in the town centre this morning.
An area on Holbrook Way, behind Sir Daniel Arms, was taped off as a crime scene and guarded by two officers following the incident in the early hours of Saturday.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are investigating reports of an assault in the town centre in the early hours of this morning. Our enquiries are continuing.”
The police would not provide any further details about the incident at this stage.
