A suspected drink driver has been charged following a crash in Chippenham.
Emergency services were called to the A350 at around 10.30pm on Tuesday night after receiving reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving street furniture.
The driver of the red car, thought to be a Volkswagen, was arrested on suspicion of driving with alcohol over the prescribed limit when he provided officers with a positive breath sample
After an overnight stay in custody, he was charged with the offence.
