A Mercedes became a raging fireball following a crash in Bradford-on-Avon this morning.

The minor collision happened at around 11.30am, where two vehicles, a black Mercedes and a white van hit each other on Bath Road at the junction with the B3105.

Just moments after the crash, the car became engulfed in flames.

Two people suffered minor injuries and were assessed by paramedics at the scene.

Two fire crews were called to the scene alongside a number of ambulances and paramedic officers. The road was closed for a number of hours while the vehicles were recovered.
