A Trowbridge man is accused of raping a woman amid a campaign of stalking.
Samuel Van-Tintelen is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).
The 31-year-old, of Charles Street, is alleged to have raped a woman in October 2025.
On the same date, he is alleged to have sexually assaulted her by penetration.
He is also accused of stalking the woman between July and October 2025.
The defendant is expected to appear in court this afternoon for a first hearing. He is currently on bail, having been charged with a number of offences.
Due to the nature of the charges, the case will be sent to a crown court.
Magistrates will decide Van-Tintelen’s bail status ahead of the next hearing.
