Police have launched an investigation after lambs were stolen from fields in Wiltshire.
A total of 40 young North Country Mule sheep were taken from land above Norrington Farm in Berwick St John, near Salisbury.
The theft took place sometime between Sunday 5 July and Monday 31 August.
The lambs were stolen from fields alongside Old Shaftesbury Drove, on an open and exposed hillside which police say is heavily used by walkers and drivers.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area.
Police also want to hear from anyone with information about the theft or who has recently seen the missing flock.
