Another car has overturned in a dramatic crash on a busy route in Chippenham.
Emergency services were called to A4 London Road, near Wiltshire Tyres and Autocentre, shortly before 10am this morning (Monday).
The incident involved a black Peugeot 2008 which flipped onto its roof. It’s not clear what caused the road traffic collision.
Police were first on scene, closing the road in both directions. The driver, a man, had escaped the wreckage and appeared to have only suffered minor wounds.
The ambulance service was called, initially sending an operational commander to the assess the patient.
The incident is ongoing. Closures are likely to remind in place until around 1pm while recovery is arranged.
On Friday (18 September), a Citroen overturned onto its side in a smash just metres from today’s scene. It sparked a large emergency response.
