A teenage girl is fighting for her life after a motorbike crash in Wiltshire.
Emergency services were called to a serious road traffic collision in Landford, close to the Hampshire border, at around 11.20am on Saturday (19 September).
The incident involved a Yamaha YZF125 motorcycle and a Ford Transit van.
A 17-year-old girl was riding the Yamaha southbound on the B3079 Lyndhurst Road when it struck the Ford van at the crossroads junction with New Road and Forest Road.
Wiltshire Police said that the van driver was attempting to cross the B3079 onto Forest Road when the collision occurred.
A spokesperson added: “We are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident or the vehicles involved prior to the collision, to contact our Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597, quoting log 124.
“Alternatively, information can be emailed to [email protected].”
