A suspect has been named and charged after the stabbing of a woman in Westbury.
Police responded to a disturbance at the Westbury Conservative Club in Alfred Street in the early hours of Sunday morning (16 August).
Officers found a 24-year-old woman has suffered a knife wound. She was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for urgent treatment.

Now Wiltshire Police say they’ve charged 21-year-old Jordan Bingham with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a blade in a public.
He appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday), and was remanded in custody.
The defendant, of no fixed abode, will next appear at Salisbury Crown Court on 18 September for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening wounds, according to the police.
