A two-year-old boy has died following a serious incident in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to a report of an unresponsive child at an address in Beech Avenue, Pinehurst, at around 9.20am this morning (Friday).
Great Western Air Ambulance was scrambled alongside many other 999 resources – including local ambulance crews and police officers.
Despite medics best efforts, the two-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed that they are “not thought to be any suspicious circumstances” surrounding the death.
Adding: “Our thoughts are with his family at this devastating time.”
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said that it sent one double-crewed land ambulance, an air ambulance, an operations officer, a rapid response vehicle, and a first responder to the scene.
Great Western Air Ambulance was spotted landing on a field in Alanbrooke Crescent, with police giving critical care medics a lift to the incident location.
