A man has been arrested for arson with intent after a major fire in Chiseldon.
Emergency services were called to New Road at 4.07pm on Saturday (8 August).
Six fire engines were sent after flames spread from a shed and trees to an electricity pole and nearby two homes.
Crews from across Wiltshire – including Stratton, Swindon, Westlea, Chippenham Cricklade and Pewsey – tackled the fire.

Great Western Air Ambulance medics treated one casualty at the scene before they were taken to hospital by land ambulance. Their condition is not currently known.
Wiltshire Police has confirmed that a man, aged in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
He has been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.

The force said that the occupants of the homes affected have been temporarily rehomed.
