A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after a crash with a van outside the Swindon tip.
Emergency services responded to a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Darby Close, on Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, at around 10am this morning (Tuesday).
The incident, which involved a motorbike and a van, happened near the Household Waste Recycling Centre.
Police closed the road while 999 crews worked at the scene, with those hoping to dispose of waste turned away.
The biker, a man aged in his 30s, was rushed to hospital with “potentially life changing injuries”.
No arrests were made and the road was open by 11am.
