A baby has been airlifted to hospital after an air ambulance landed on a field in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to a medical incident in Moredon area at around 10.30am on Tuesday morning (21 July).
South Western Ambulance Service said that they dispatched a double-crewed land ambulance and an air ambulance – from Great Western Air Ambulance Charity – to the scene.
The blue and green helicopter landed on a field between Pembroke Gardens and Abbey View Road.
Members of the public gathered to look at the aircraft, before stepping back when the casualty arrived.
Wiltshire 999s understands a baby was seriously unwell, and required urgent care. They were airlifted to the Great Western Hospital.
